Anyone who's eaten a coconut knows that it's delicious, but also hard work. Coquitos are the fruit of a palm tree from Chile that are tiny, but easy to eat.
The brown skin is thin and the flesh is sweet, nutty and crisp. The name "coquito" is also a word for macaroon-type cookies in the Latin world. Coquitos are available in most larger grocery stores in the exotic produce area.
