The time is almost here for brightly colored Easter Eggs and Easter egg hunts. Easter egg coloring has become a time for families of all ages to come together for fun. Coloring the eggs with the new wax crayons, stick-ons, tattoos, and dyes is exciting for everyone. How long are those colored treasures good for before they should be egg salad or hit the trash can? After cooking your eggs, make sure to cool completely under refrigeration before you begin the Easter egg coloring event and after. It is recommended that eggs be placed back in refrigerator after coloring your eggs and you should eat them within one week to be safe. Hard cooked eggs should not be left out more than 2 hours.
