The world's biggest crustacean is the giant coconut crab, which lives on tropical islands in the Pacific ocean, ranging to the Indian ocean.
The crab routinely grows up to 3 feet across and can weigh between 30 and 60 pounds. It is also called a "robber" crab because it likes to steal shiny objects. The coconut crab has delicious flesh that has a slight coconut flavor, because its main meal is . . . coconuts.
