Bloggers all over the globe are posting some really great green foods they've come up with to celebrate Saint Patrick's day.
Saint Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland. The story goes that he used a shamrock to explain the idea of the Holy Trinity. Shamrocks being green, it became the color we use to celebrate St. Patrick's day.
Making food green is easy: just add a little green food coloring. At Beer over heals you can learn how to make green beer. If sweet treats are your thing, Simple Sifted has a recipe for Green Velvet Cupcakes.
