Most Expensive Beef

Wagyu beef is the name for the cattle brought to Japan in the 17th century. One of the five breeds of Wagyu cattle is the famous Kobe beef.

All Wagyu beef is extremely tender and flavorful. The meat's extensive marbling and tenderness is partly-natural, as the cattle have been bred for these qualities for centuries. However, the quality of the meat is helped along by the feeding and care process, which involves daily massages and a diet rich in beer and sake.
