The Perfect Easter Ham

The perfect Easter ham is something that eludes many. Some people opt for the presliced, glaze included option. The perfect ham is not that difficult, with a good recipe for the glaze, and roasting instructions you should be able to produce a prize-winning dish. To cover or not to cover that is the question. Roasting typically is an uncovered cooking process at a lower temperature. Sometimes your ham may get brown before the internal temperature where it should be, covering the ham at that point will ensure that it will not get any browner or burn. Starting the ham out covered is another option, then uncovering to brown it at the end of the cooking process is another way to cook your ham. Watch this great cooking video on how to bake your ham, it includes a delicious glaze and a scallop potato recipe that are easy to do.
