Most of us hear the word haggis, and immediately think 'disgusting Scottish innards wrapped in guts'. But, is it really as horrible as it sounds?
Haggis is actually a kind of sausage, just like a hotdog. And while it is true that it is made with offal, so are most other sausages. Haggis has one big difference: it is usually accompanied by Scotch whisky!
Nowadays, there's even a vegetarian option made with pulses, nuts and vegetables.
