Cooks often have secret ingredients that enhance the flavor of any dish. Have you ever heard of putting a small amount of fresh pepper on strawberries? It brings out the berry flavor. Sugar enhances the flavor of tomatoes, especially in spaghetti sauce. A lot of people know this trick, but it's worth passing on again: a pinch of salt in coffee also enhances its coffee flavor.
