One of the favorite traditional foods of the Inuit people in Canada and Alaska is walrus liver.
Inuit people still hunt and fish, but don't depend 100% on the traditional foods they ate throughout history. At 35 calories an ounce, with only a small percentage of fat, walrus liver is one of the most nutritious animal foods available, especially in the cold climate of the Arctic circle.
