Fried Brain Sandwich

The fried brain sandwich is considered a delicacy in many countries and even in the United states. They say indians used every part of an animal they killed and all of our ancestors has probably had something like this, so its no surprise that a recipe is easy to find and all be it easy to make. So, enjoy, or be disgusted..

Ingredients:

1lb Brains
1 beaten egg
1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
other seasoning of your choice to taste.

Instructions:

Soak the brain in salt water for about a half an hour
Rinse with clear water and remove membrane
Drain
mix flour, egg and baking power (along with seasoning). If mixture is too thin add flour to thicken, if too thick add milk to thin.
Dip brains in mixture, coating both sides.
Fry brains until lightly brown on both sides,
Serve on bread or buns, add condiments to taste
Can also be eaten without bread.
