This is such a delicious Italian way to cook a pork chop!


2 (1 in thick) center-cut rib pork chops
2 sage leaves, finely chopped
2 very thin slices Italian Fontina
2 thin slices prosciutto (1 ounce)
2 TBSP olive oil, divided

The rice in this main dish is really optional. If you prefer to just have the pork chops as a stand alone main portion, you would just omit the rice and serve after browning.


4 loin or rib pork chops 1" thick
1 TBSP oil
salt, pepper, garlic
1 cup hot water
1 cup uncooked rice
1 can beef broth or onion soup
